Getting rid of your junk is a sure fire way to safe yourself some money.
I’ve always thought that putting your stuff in self storage was a bad idea. If you leave it there for a long time it will cost you a fortune. I have helped friends put their junk into storage time and time again. Most of what they put in is junk. If you can’t fit your junk where you live then get rid of it.
We went to the swap meet over the weekend and as we were getting ready to leave we noticed three moms with their kids. It was late in the day and the kids had obviously been out for a while so they were tired. One kid starts to cry and they all cry. I guess misery loves company. They were all really young kids.
2 Years ago we had a second mortgage on our house which was also a line of credit. We paid it off 2 years ago. The mortgage company sent us a letter that said we couldn’t use that credit line anymore because of the recession basically. The mortgage company sold that loan to another company even though it had a zero balance. The new company notified us of the loan transfer and has been sending us statements ever since. The statements say there is a zero balance. Has this ever happened to you? It must be all automated because I think that human intervention would realize that there is no balance and that it has no value. We’ll be leaving the twilight zone anytime now hopefully.
I am in the middle of inputing 50 items into a purchase order on my computer and the power goes out. I restart my computer and it goes out twice more. This happened to me about 3 months ago and it totally blew out my computer. I had to reinstall from scratch as it would not boot up. I considered calling the electric company, but somewhere in the past I heard that it is not their responsibility if something breaks as a result of using their power. Huh, seems like they are getting off easy. If I provided a service I would be responsible.
One of my employees was watching the Addams Family during lunch and it got me to thinking, was Lurch a Zombie? Lurch walked around stiff, he moaned alot, and looked dead with his sunken cheeks and eyes. What do you think? Was he dead or alive?
